Congratulations! Our PhD student YICK-SAU LAU was awarded the 112th NSTC National Science Council Award for Doctoral Candidates in the Humanities and Social Sciences to write doctoral dissertations, and was the only musicology awardee.

YICK-SAU LAU is supervised by Prof. YING-FENG YANG, and the topic of his dissertation is  “Spring Breeze Blown to the South: The Circulation of Taiwanese Popular Songs in Colonial Taiwan in the Southeast Asian Hokkien World”.
