Congratulations! Our distinguished alumnus, Pei-Ling Huang, has been appointed as an Assistant Professor at Center for General Education, NTU!
Ms. Pei-Ling Huang holds a Master’s degree in Musicology from National Taiwan University and a Ph.D in Ethnomusicology from Harvard University. She was a doctoral-level research fellow at the Institute of Ethnology, Academia Sinica. In 2009 and 2012, she received support from the Council for Cultural Affairs’ Dream Building Project and Cloud Gate Dance Theatre’s Wanderers Project, respectively, to collect thesis materials and explore South Asian musical cultures in India and Pakistan. As of February of this year, she has assumed her role as an Assistant Professor at our Joint Education Center, bringing a wealth of musical appreciation and academic knowledge to our students.
